PIEROGIE LASAGNA

Pierogie Lasagna

INGREDIENTS:

9 -12 oven ready lasagne noodles
4 cups hot mashed potatoes, a little liquidy
1 (16oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed but no need to drain
1/2 cup (1/2 of 250g tub) Philadelphia Herb & Garlic cream cheese spread, softened
6 green onions, thinly sliced
1 pkg. (80 g) Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Recipe Pieces, divided
2 cups Kraft Cheddar shredded cheese, divided

DIRECTIONS:
Combine mashed potatoes, spinach, cream cheese spread, onions, 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup Cheddar. Place 3-4 noodles in 13×9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover with 1/3 of the potato mixture. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining bacon and Cheddar; cover. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 min. or until heated through. Uncover; bake 3 to 5 min. or until Cheddar is lightly browned. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

THIS MEAL WILL STICK TO YOUR BONES:  PACKED WITH CARBS AND A GOOD AMOUNT OF FAT.  MIGHT TRY USING LOW FAT SOUR CREAM  MIXED WITH GARLIC AND MY FAVORITE HERBS (BASIL, PARSLEY) INSTEAD OF THE CREAM CHEESE
